By car from San Jose (Juan Santamaría International Airport):You can take the InterAmerican route (1) or Route Caldera (27), then at a crossroad where is El Santuario de las lapas and the 3 Sisters Restaurant which has a statue of a bull at the entrance, which takes the path to the Amistad Bridge, arriving at the town of Nicoya, the capital of culture and business in the province of Guanacaste. Then take the road to the town of Sámara, which is approximately 43 km away from Nicoya. Once in the town of Samara, follow road toward Puerto Carrillo, who is 7 km to the east.
